President Donald Trump has regularly shared that he would be quite happy to face off in the 2020 presidential election against former Vice President Joe Biden claiming an easy battle. But now Trump has shared that it wouldn’t even be a fight.
Reporters outside the White House asked the president how he considered a potential presidential run by Biden.
“I don’t see him as a threat. I think he’s only a threat to himself,” Trump responded. “He’s been there a long time. His record is not good.”
If the latest controversy surrounding Biden and his uncalled for physical contact wasn’t enough to sink that ship, Trump also shared that Biden would have to somehow make amends for Obama-era mishaps.
“I can’t blame Vice President Biden for wanting to run, but he’s going to have to be held to account for the Obama-Biden economy, the Obama-Biden foreign policy national security failures, the Obama-Biden appropriation of our nation’s healthcare where nine years after Obamacare, Bidencare was passed, about 28 million Americans still don’t have care,” Trump explained.
At this rate Biden may not even enter the 2020 race. Which given how hard the decision to run alone has been for him, is probably a good thing.
