Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez once again was made the fool after she went into a craze over a short-lived tornado warning.
During an Instagram live video, AOC went into a frenzy and declaring a “climate crisis” all over a thunderstorm.
“There’s people stuck outside!” she said in the video. “We need to get them out. This is crazy.”
While the storm passed almost as quickly as it began, AOC was already too riled up to be comforted.
“Apparently the tornado moved/missed the city so quickly that they ended the warning shortly after,” she shared, adding “apparently this is a thing that happens in the summer here? With increasing intensity?”
She then went on to link the normal weather event with her claims that the world is ending due to climate change.
“Tornadoes are challenging to link to climate change links due to their nature (geographically, limited, acute patterns, how they form, etc.), but we DO know that tornadoes HAVE been changing. They are no longer limited to the Great Plains, and are shifting to other regions of the country,” she posted.
“The climate crisis is real, y’all,” she continued. “Guess we’re at casual tornadoes in growing regions of the country.”
However, AOC’s little rant caught the attention of meteorologist Ryan Maue, who was more than willing to set the record straight taking the congresswoman to task for confusing “climate” with “weather.”
While it is amusing to see OCasio-Cortez constant expose her own stupidity, it’s a shame for herself and the nation that she doesn’t seem to be learning from her mistakes.
